"These places evoke a sense of the presence of history and eternity in a person. Despite the knowledge that some of the forests are not necessarily indigenous, they evoke the atmosphere of a community that was here long before me and which is living its own life. Living beings can then be seen not only in the animals that truly live here, but also in the trees, stones, marshlands and hillsides."
